Our Community

TheraBasics celebrates everyone who is pursuing excellent mental health! We are a community of therapists, coaches, and clients serious about being and doing well in all areas of life. We reduce stigma by creating space to talk about mental illness. Inside the community, you will find complimentary resources (a notebook, planner, binder) and psychoeducation about the therapy experience. Feel empowered to talk about mental health issues with loved ones, find a therapist, prepare for therapy, and accomplish your mental health goals after treatment!

Everyone could benefit from therapy

Mental illnesses are among the most common health condition in the United States. According to the CDC, 1 in 5 will experience a mental illness in a year. Over 50% will be diagnosed with a mental illness or disorder at some point in their lifetime. Although there is no single cause for mental illness, there are things that we can do to help deal with mental illness and, most importantly, normalize the issue.

Beginning therapy can be a big step toward being the healthiest version of yourself and living the best life possible—no matter what challenges you may be facing. Through therapy, you can change self-destructive behaviors and habits, resolve painful feelings, improve your relationships, and more. TheraBasics was designed just for you. We wanted to create a place where you could get tools to enhance your therapy experience.
